I walked into a room where another guest was already staying, and the hotel could use some upgrading on the plumbing. However, the service was wonderful, and the management worked out our concerns. The location on the Deschutes River was perfect, and easy to sleep with the sound from the dammed Deschutes right there. The dining was minimal at best, but the facilities were decent.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were a lot smaller than expected and the walls were very thin, the room itself was very spacious and even had a full kitchen setup. The service was a bit of a hit or miss - some staff members were cold and unfriendly, while others were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially when answering my questions. The hotel's location was great, being right on the river and close to downtown, although some areas could use a bit more cleaning. The dining options were quite limited and disappointing, with packaged snacks being the main offerings. Overall, it's a decent stay with some areas that could be improved.
Staying at this hotel was a good experience overall. The location was convenient, and the rooms were clean and had all the basics for a short stay. The service was a mix between not so friendly and fabulous, with nice amenities available. The dining options, although limited, included some essentials.
